Came to try the new shredded beef Birria Tacos that's available to El Pollo Loco reward members! Sneak peak I guess. Got the 2 taco Birria meal which comes with 2 beef Birria tacos, consumé dipping sauce, tortilla chips, and salsa. Drink not included. Meal is $8.29 which I find a bit pricey but that's the cost of trying something new! It was pretty good for a fast food place. The shredded beef was tender and flavorful. The taco was deep fried like how they do it with Jack in the Box tacos. The consumé dip was a bit salty but still paired very well with the tacos. I recommend trying it! I wish I would have gotten the stuffed quesadilla instead though but I chose tacos as that's the classic traditional way to have Birria. Will try Birria quesadilla next time Staff was really nice. I mean the person who rung me up and prepared my order. This store wears face masks but they do not wear gloves. They should!!! Please wear gloves!

Fast and friendly. Very clean. My go to is still the chicken salad tostada bowl. I go every time I get mailed the coupon. The food is fresh.

Quick with orders, the chicken burrito is diffferent every time though. Tonight the chicken was covered in an orange sauce almost like a buffalo sauce? It’s usually plain grilled chicken. With rice, cheese, and pinto beans. Another example is it will randomly have sauce in it sometimes, but burrito doesn’t come with sauce

My experience at Pollo loco was great! I love getting the chicken bowls very convenient and only $5 you can beat that. Especially when you are out and have no time to cook.

They should pay more attention to customers. I saw may customers at counter for asking something. None of the employees did not care. It was before 11am

I usually mobile order from here and my order is ready in about 5 minutes. They are located off Chapman and Placentia ave. next to Sonic. I've tried the chicken nachos and tostada salads and they're consistently good. I also tried the chicken tortilla soup and thought it was a nice healthy alternative to regular fast food items.

I last stopped by on 9/1/2023 at around 1:00 PM for a quick lunch with my coworkers. This was my second time coming to this location. The location was pretty empty and clean with indoor seating available. I ordered the following: Orig Pollo Bowl w/ Flour Tortilla + Sm Drink - $5.29 It's a pretty good deal but it's not much food (but with today's inflation, $5.29 is still a good steal). Please note that they don't give you many chicken pieces and the bowl is mainly loaded with beans. However, it was still quite filling for me and was still quite tasty. A little sad that they no longer offer a self-service sauce station, but it might be for cleanliness reasons. Just be sure to ask them for more sauces! Parking: No issues with parking! Location: Convenient to CSU Fullerton campus. All in all, it's a little disappointing to see all the bad reviews, but I'm relieved to have a different (more positive) experience.
